It’s been awhile since I’ve made an entry! Time to get back in the game!!
I participated in a crazy European adventure with my elder daughter (Kaela) and her family. Thru the dates of July 13 – August 4, we travelled to Madrid, Barcelona, Euro Disney, Paris, St Andrew’s, and Edinburgh. I’m still trying to wrap my brain around all we saw and experienced.
However to keep this entry somewhat in line with the rest of this blog I’ll focus on one event: I went on a gravel ride outside of Edinburgh. Beautiful country!
Mackenzie Baker ( Www.biketrax.co.uk ) was my delightful (and very patient) guide as we traversed Pentland Hills National Park. Apparently I enjoyed the scenery a bit too much as I toppled over 6 times! 😳 However, I blame at least one of the times on the brakes being reversed — Right grip : Front brake, left grip : Rear brake. 🥹
