Our European Vacation has begun and we’re starting it off in Madrid! July 13th was alooooong day as Stephen, Drew, and I flew to Madrid to meet up with Kaela. We started at 6:45 am Saturday and arrived at 7:09 am Sunday.
Of course, Kaela was ready to go! So soon we were trekking across Madrid on the Metro. The Retiro Park (huge! Comparable to NY Central Park)Food, shopping, Drinks, more touristy stuff, more food, more drinks…rinse, repeat.
We finally crash in our hotel and followed by more of the same Monday. This time visiting the Grand Palace, Prada Art museum (no pics allowed but I could spend days there), a Flamenco dance show (again no pics but fantastic!) and of course plenty of local dining, ice cream, and wine.
